This opal clearly didn’t get the memo about being round, and I love it for that. I made a prong setting to follow its wonderfully irregular shape and hold it snugly in place.
It shifts with the light like a mood ring, giving little glimpses of a glowing beach. Twisted wire and details on either side jazz up the band, because why should the opal have all the fun?
Finished with a black patina and polished to a shine. Stamped with my signature "L. Cloud" and “.925” sterling silver.
