A rich, hydrating blend of oils to decrease inflammation, repair damage to cells caused by free-radicals, prevent collagen break-down, fade blemishes and smooth appearance of wrinkles. Rose Tuberose has a refined, sweet, up-lifting scent.

Retinoin is an active form of Vitamin A. It helps to prevent collagen breakdown and promotes skin renewal.

Retinoin, Borage Oil, Avocado Oil, Rosehip Oil, Pomegranate Kernel Oil, Argan Oil, Frankincense Oil, Immortelle or Helichrysum Italicum oil, Rose Tuberose attar.

Frankincense Oil  reduces inflammation.

Borage and Avocado oil are rich in natural Omega 3,6 and 9, which nourishes the skin and restores the lipid layer.

Argan oil has been used by Morrocon women to hydrate the skin, decrease wrinkles and maintain a fair complexion. Research shows that Argan Oil inhibits melanin synthesis, thus reducing dark spots and brightening the complexion due to it's anti-oxidant and skin protecting properties. Argan oil is rich in tocopherols, medium chain fatty acids, carotenoids, squalene, and oleic acid, components that hydrate the skin and decreases fine lines and wrinkles.

Pomegranate Kernel Oil is an anti-oxidant and helps to repair skin damage. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic effects. The anti-oxidant potential of pomegranate juice is more than that of red wine and green tea. The oil is also rich in punicic acid (65%) which is a potent anti-oxidant.

Immortelle or Helichrysum Italicum has monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, monoterpenoids and phenolic compounds which gives it good anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and wound healing properties. It also reduces feelings of burnt out and mental exhaustion.

* Tuberoses are amazing. They smell like something from heaven. They look magestic, wild and regal.

Tuberose is found in Central America and India and in high demand in the countries of the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, and Africa in order to make perfume. The scientific name for Tuberose is Polianthes Tuberosa. The essential oil can be extracted by Solvent method or Enfleurage. It cannot be extracted by steam distillation since the flowers are so delicate.

It takes 3500 pounds of hand picked flowers to make 1 pound of Tuberose Absolute oil!

This oil behaves as an aphrodisiac. It has a very strong, intoxicating floral fragrance and can be found to be very effective in treating frigidity and a lack of libido.

There are components of this oil that stimulates parts of our brain responsible for arousal, sexual feelings, and libido. It relaxes the mind, central nervous system and relieves stress.

Massage a few drops at night on clean skin before using a moisturiser. Alternatively, mix a few drops with your favourite night cream to add a boost of goodness to your skin.

Use a good sunscreen during the day as Vitamin A can thin the skin by sloughing off the dead top layer of the epidermis.

It may cause some skin sensitivity in some people so it's best to apply a small amount every 2-3 days then build up to daily.

Reduce the frequency of application if skin peeling occurs. You can also request this serum to be made up without the Retinoin.

You can also increase collagen levels in the body by taking with a good collagen supplement. Taking Saw Palmetto can also help reduce dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which increases as we get older and causes the breakdown of collagen and increases wrinkle formation. Ask our Naturopath Victoria Martin or our pharmacist if taking Saw Palmetto would be suitable for you, especially if you are taking other medications or have other medical conditions.

We are always happy to help with your health concerns.
